The Project Architect provides project-wide design and technical leadership to create high quality solutions aligned with project goals. Serving as Professional of Record, this role holds primary responsibility to ensure design intent, technical quality and project requirements are successfully integrated into the overall project design and deliverables.

Responsibilities

    Provides project-wide design and technical leadership
  • Actively participates in project development from programming/conceptual design through construction administration
  • Serves as Professional of Record on projects of various scales and complexity
  • Partners with Project Managers in development and maintenance of scope, budget, schedule, and labor resource plans
  • Translates project scope into coordinated deliverables and documentation strategies
  • Prepares, reviews and oversees production of drawings, specifications, and other required technical documentation
  • Documents code review and compliance


Qualifications

  • Registered Architect in state of Texas or able to get through reciprocity
  • 5-10 years of experience of civic-based design
  • Demonstrated capability to assume project-wide architectural responsibility
  • Proficiency with architectural design software, including Revit, Sketchup, MOS, and Bluebeam
