As a Security Officer Screener in Dothan, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and team members, and support access control activities while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies for a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, packages, bags, and/or materials entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with post orders and established inspection guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around screening checkpoints, loading and unloading areas, and the perimeter, with duties and working conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
