Position: SAP ABAP

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: FTE

Client is looking for someone who will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality SAP ABAP solutions within an ECC 6.0 environment. This is a hands-on software engineering role requiring active, recent SAP ABAP development experience, including dialogue programming, SAP Forms/SAP Script, ALV reporting, IDOC processing, and use of function modules, RFCs, BAPIs, and web services.

Summary:

• Have 10 to 15 years of recent, relevant experience in SAP ABAP development
• Possess a strong understanding of SAP ECC 6.0 and core modules such as AR, AP, SD, FI, and MM
• Have experience designing and implementing ABAP solutions within S/4HANA environments
• Are primarily hands-on software developers with a strong focus on coding and technical delivery
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Understand end-to-end business processes across core SAP modules and can apply that knowledge in practical scenarios

This role is not a fit for candidates who:

• Are primarily SAP functional consultants or analysts without strong hands-on development experience
• Lack recent SAP ABAP development experience
• Have only worked in S/4HANA environments
• Have not worked in SAP ECC within the last 4 to 5 years
• Are seeking a primarily advisory or consulting-focused role
