Position Summary The Constituent Research Analyst (CRA) will play a significant role in growing our advancement team. Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement and Public Relations, the CRA will possess a growth mindset and be a mission-driven professional aligned with the vision and mission of Eastern New Mexico University. A Hispanic Serving Institution, ENMU is committed to providing access and affordability to first-generation and socio-economically underrepresented families and students. The CRA will play a significant part in co-creating our engagement and fundraising infrastructure. The CRA will act as a collaborative partner with advancement and alumni relations, working to inform and design a data-centered approach to constituent engagement. This will include, but not be limited to, developing segmented 'data pools', affinity and capacity-based constituent engagement, and solicitation pipelines. The CRA will be proficient in Power BI reporting and help manage and develop daily, quarterly, and annual reports integrated with the advancement. Additionally, the CRA will develop and test the development of AI models to assist our team with training, data analysis, and reporting. The CRA will possess the fundamental competencies of a prospect researcher and have the ability to grow in their profession with our developing division. The applicant should be curious, analytical, persistent, detail-oriented, and have a relationship-centered approach. A creative thinker and problem solver, the candidate should work well both independently and in collaboration with others.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth research and analysis of individuals, corporations, foundations, and philanthropic partners using a variety of data sources, data analysis tools, and techniques.
- Conduct wealth screenings, cross-reference, and verify research findings across multiple sources.
- Prepare written profiles, ratings, qualification lists, and help develop strategic pipelines.
- Track research findings in a CRM system and assist with organization-wide efforts to acquire and maintain institutional data according to best practices in data management.
- Act as a strategic partner and proactively provide data-informed recommendations regarding the next steps to development officers, advancement, and academic leaders.
- Provide exceptional customer service to a variety of internal and external partners.
- Help organize research and data.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements: A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience related to the duties specified. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability in research techniques such as prospect identification, data mining, and relationship mapping.
- Familiarity with push technology resources and electronic screening tools.
- Ability to read and interpret business, government & legal documents (IRS Form 990, SEC filings, property assessments, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to analyze, interpret, synthesize, and present complex information effectively.
- Experience/knowledge of (fundraising) databases (Ellucian Advance/Banner, a plus)
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Cognos, Tableau) and online information and screening services such as Wealth Engine, Lexis Nexis, Sorkins, FoundationSearch, ResearchPoint, etc.
- General awareness of best practices in database management.
- High-level proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, with particular emphasis on Excel and Power BI. Proficiency developing AI managers utilizing LLMs.
- Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential donor and prospect information.
