Poolcorp is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide temporary backfill support during its peak summer season. This role is open due to multiple team members being on leave, and the contractor will help ensure continuity of end-user support during a critical period of increased demand. Key Responsibilities: Provide Tier 1 Helpdesk support to internal users via phone and ticketing system - Handle 17-20 calls per day during off-season volumes, with increased activity expected during peak season - Deliver high-quality customer service, including de-escalation and support for frustrated or upset users - Accurately document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions - Collaborate effectively with an 8-person End User Support team - Help Desk Analyst respond to end-user requests for technical assistance by Phone, email, or ticketing system. - Troubleshoots and resolves basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues. - Being a Help Desk Analyst uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards. - Utilizes product information or solution database to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions. - Additionally, Help Desk Analyst advises users on the methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed. Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issue resolution. - May support installs or upgrades of software or devices, set up user profiles, or re-set passwords. - Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality. Typically reports to a supervisor. - The Helpdesk Analyst II has gained or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
