JOB SUMMARY

Driver and support services are for project specificjobin York County, SC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspects trucks and trailers prior to delivery

  • Notifies manager if inspection does not check out on a vehicle

  • Assistswith loading material for delivery

  • Delivers material to jobsitesin a timely manner

  • Maintains fuel, and dailylog booksand turnsin tomanager weekly

  • Responsible for ensuring all material has been loaded properly

  • Comply withDOT regulations as well as company policies and procedures.

  • Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions on jobsites, storagelocation,etc.

  • Collect and verify delivery instructions daily.

  • Assistswith rigging andunloading ofequipment on jobsites.

  • Other duties as required.

BASICQUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Three years' experience as commercial driver

  • CDL Class A license

  • Clean MVR

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule and overtime as needed

  • Basic computer knowledge

PREFERREDREQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of the CharlotteNC and York County SCarea

  • Experience in the construction industry

  • LullEquipmentOperator

  • OSHA 10

  • Flagger Training

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS

  • Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.

  • Work environment involves moderate exposure toconstructionwarehouse hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.

  • Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 75 pounds and extensive sitting.Some walking and standing.
