Overview

The Regional Billing Manager oversees the billing process, ensure invoices are accurate, timely, and compliant. Maintain the billing systems and resolve billing disputes with customers. Collaborate with crossfunctional departments-including Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and Compliance - to streamline billing workflows, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure billing practices support the organization's overall financial health. This role also includes planning, coordinating, data analysis, reporting, and executing client service initiatives to ensure customer needs are met, strengthen client relationships, and support overall regional business objectives.



Responsibilities


    Overseeing Regional Billing Operations:
    Direct daily billing activities, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and maintain compliance with organizational standards.

  • Managing the Regional Billing Team:
    Supervise, mentor, and evaluate billing team to support productivity and performance.
  • Coordinating with Other Departments Regionally:
    Work closely with finance, operations, customer service, and other teams to resolve billing issues and streamline workflows.
  • Training, Coaching, and Developing Staff:
    Provide onboarding, ongoing training, and skill development to ensure consistent, highquality billing practices.
  • Monitoring Billing Processes:
    Audit billing cycles, track KPIs, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Client Services:
    Address client billing inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Regulations and Compliance:
    Monitor regulatory changes and update internal procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards


Qualifications

Education
* High School (required)

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)

Experience
* 4+ years of billing experience in a medium to large organization (required)

* 2+ years of supervisory or management experience, preferably overseeing multi-site or regional teams (required)

* 1+ years work experience with CargoWise (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Proficiency with billing systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools High

* Strong understanding of billing regulations and compliance standards High
