About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of quality systems, experience with precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams to uphold quality standards.

Location: Prescott, AZ. This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration of hand tools per documented procedures.
  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements.
  • Analyze inspection results and document findings in accordance with established procedures.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices.
  • Inspect products using various inspection gages, scales, and visual inspection prior to product shipment Use of hand tools.
  • Perform complex geometric layout inspection using standard variable gaging and relative mathematics.
  • Verification of certifications and testing of incoming raw materials Function as Designated Quality Representative for various customers to release products for shipment.
  • Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and other surface irregularities.
  • Compare product with applicable parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly.
  • Verify dimensional compliance of all products with drawing and customer requirements.
  • Perform in-process inspection and testing of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with all applicable mechanical and process related requirements.
  • Process understanding to ensure final acceptance/compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 1-3 years relevant experience in quality assurance manufacturing.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • knowledge of quality assurance principles, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC methodologies.
  • knowledge of the manufacturing process to ensure end products comply with customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and CMM.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to pass an eye exam on an annual basis.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
