Georgia Tech Office of Development (DEV)

Our fundraising team at Georgia Tech currently consists of more than 100 professionals who are focused on securing transformative philanthropy (major and principal gifts) to support the strategic priorities of the Institute and its colleges, schools, and programs, including Georgia Tech Athletics. For fiscal year 2024 (closed 6/30/2024), the Development teams efforts resulted in over $243 million in new gifts and commitments in support of Transforming Tomorrow: The Campaign for Georgia Tech which will secure more than $2 billion in new commitments and gifts from individuals, foundations, corporations, and other organizations. Job Summary

Manages donor-funded scholarship data by reviewing gift agreements and related documentation to capture donor intent, restrictions, and requirements. Translates complex information into standardized data and maintains accurate tracking spreadsheets. Collaborates with stewardship, compliance, gift administration, and financial aid teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify fund parameters. Identifies data gaps and potential compliance risks, escalating issues as needed, and communicates clearly with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and effective decision-making. Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Perform duties related to professional field assignment.

Job Duty 2 -
Participate in reviews for compliance with policy and governmental regulations in the field.

Provide input to department policies and procedures.

May provide input to and administer project timelines and budgets.

Job Duty 5 -
May interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues.

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required Qualifications
Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in data review and entry.; Knowledge of donor stewardship practices and the lifecycle of donor funded scholarships.; Understanding of fund compliance, donor intent, and restricted gift administration.; Strong technical proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets), including formulas, validation, and structured data organization.; Experience working with CRM or advancement database systems.; Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information clearly.; Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
Experience in higher education advancement, donor relations, gift administration, or scholarship management.; Familiarity with scholarship awarding processes and financial aid coordination.; Experience building or maintaining data frameworks that support long term operational systems.; Comfort working with policy driven environments and compliance documentation.

Proposed Salary

Salary: $30/hr
