What to Expect
We areseekinga driven and technically curious Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join ourCapEx/OpExproject execution team. You will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of industrial equipment across our facilities-focusing on rotating and fixed equipment, new equipment integration, and system reliability. This is a hands-onpositionisideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment and takes pride in precision, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. This role requiresa strong foundationin mechanical systems, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a proactive mindset to ask the right questions and deliver efficient, high-quality work.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial rotating equipment (pumps, motors, compressors, fans, gearboxes, couplings) and fixed equipment (valves, piping, structural supports, conveyors)
- Support new equipment installations and upgrades with full mechanical integration, alignment, and commissioning
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and as-built documentation to ensureaccurateinstallation and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other trades to execute maintenance and project work safely and efficiently
- Document work performed using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) with accuracy and timeliness
- Identifyand report equipment anomalies, safety concerns, or design issues-proactively asking questions to clarify scope and ensure quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety and quality standards
What You'll Bring
- Trade school certification in mechanical maintenance, industrial technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance (manufacturing, power generation, or similar environment)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with CMMS (e.g., SAP, Maximo,EAM,IBM TRIRIGA) and familiarity with torque specs, bolt tensioning, and ASME/ISO standards
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO), energy control procedures, and safety protocols
- Must have command of the English language both written and verbal
Essential Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
