To thrive as an EH & S Foreperson, you must lead by prioritizing safety. You will influence others, take charge of compliance, and balance ecological, health, and safety needs with daily distribution operations. You'll play an essential role in building an environment in which safety is a core value and operational excellence is achieved through proactive leadership and accountability.

The EH & S Foreperson leads all aspects of site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) efforts. They also coordinate the safe and productive daily operation of a regional distribution center. This role ensures compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations, while supervising warehouse operations, identifying and mitigating hazards, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance and employee engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and encourage a culture embedding safety, health, and environmental responsibility as core values. Make sure all SH&E procedures and governmental workplace safety, environmental, and transportation standards are met.

  • Coordinate daily warehouse and shipping operations, including supervising staff, prioritizing order fulfillment, and ensuring SOPs are consistently followed.

  • Conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents using root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Develop, deliver, and coordinate safety training, orientations, and refresher programs for full-time and temporary employees.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with significant warehousing experience and prior lead or supervisory responsibility.

  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations, with the ability to maintain audit ready compliance at all times

  • Proven leadership, communication, and influence skills across diverse teams, from hourly employees to site leadership.

  • Ability to train others, prioritize various tasks in a fast paced environment, and get results through cross functional collaboration.
