What to Expect
The Service Business Operations Program Manager plays a critical role in scaling and streamlining the operational foundation of Tesla's Commercial Energy Asset Management team. This position is embedded within the Asset Management organization but works cross-functionally across Commercial Billing, Finance Operations, Legal, Service Operations, and product/systems teams to design, implement, and continuously improve the processes that enable Asset Managers to effectively manage Tesla's growing portfolio of Commercial PV and Industrial Storage assets.This is a high-impact, highly visible role that sits at the intersection of commercial operations, processdevelopment, and program management.
What You'll Do
Design, document, and own end-to-end operational processes for the Energy Asset Management team, covering the fullprojectlifecycle - from customer onboarding through contract renewals, amendments, terminations, decommissioning, and billing
Maintain and govern the team'sprocess library, ensuring documentation is current,accurate, and actionable
Serve as the primary liaison between Asset Management and cross-functional partners including Commercial Billing, Finance Operations (FinOps), Legal, Service Operations, and product/systems teams
Coordinate multi-team workstreams for complex, recurring processes such as contract scrubbing, performance guarantee reporting, insurance compliance (COI), settlement payments, andaftersalesinvoicing
What You'll Bring
5+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or service operations - ideally within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or a complex B2B services environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent experience; PMP certification a plus
Familiarity with commercial energy concepts including service agreements, billing structures, performance guarantees, and contract lifecycle management - or the ability to learn quickly in a technical domain

Expected Compensation
$108,000 - $198,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
