Krispy Kreme is looking for a Senior Operations Analyst to sit at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution. This role is a key partner to senior leadership, translating complex operational data into clear decisions that drive performance across our retail and production business. You won't just report on the business - you'll help shape it, introducing modern analytics capabilities that push Krispy Kreme's analytics maturity forward. This role is built for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves finding the story in data, and wants their work to have a real business impact.

A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Help shape the analytics vision for operations in partnership with senior leaders, including integrating AI into analytics workflows
  • Champion the evolution of analytics at Krispy Kreme by introducing advanced tools, methodologies, and a culture of data-driven decision making
  • Present insights to leaders in clear, compelling formats that drive action
  • Lead analytics initiatives that drive measurable improvement in operations

Analytics

  • Establish operational KPIs and performance frameworks that keep teams aligned and accountable. Ex. Labor efficiency, material efficiency, product availability, equipment reliability, and other critical operations KPIs
  • Leverage tools like Python, SQL, Power BI and AI for complex analytics and dashboarding
  • Design intuitive dashboards and self-service analytics tools that empower operators and leaders to make faster, smarter decisions. Surface actionable patterns before they become problems
  • Apply statistical rigor and experimentation to validate findings and measure the impact of operational changes
  • Automate existing tools and processes to be more efficient
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted partner to business leaders and fellow analysts across the business
  • Support IT with third party data integrations, ensuring the data used for reporting is well defined and accurate
  • Train and mentor others on analytical tools and methods

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, operations analysis, or a related field within retail, manufacturing, or production environments
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL and AI for data wrangling, analysis, and modeling
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex findings clearly
  • Strong track record of turning data into operational improvements
  • Experience working with operations, production and/or retail data preferred
  • Experience working in a large-scale, geographically distributed business preferred
