Solutions Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Apptio Developer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is part of a dynamic team building and implementing the enterprise Demand Management intake and routing capability within the Apptio platform. The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical resource responsible for developing solution components, designing workflows, building data pipelines, and creating scalable reporting within Apptio's TBM Studio.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a hands-on Apptio technical resource, developing solution components in TBM Studio including data tables, transforms, models, metrics, and reports
• Design and implement the end-to-end intake workflow framework within Apptio, including request capture, routing, validations, and lifecycle management
• Build and maintain Apptio data tables and transformation pipelines to support demand intake and workflow data structures
• Implement and extend the underlying Apptio data model to represent demand objects, routing attributes, and governance outputs
• Develop validation controls and data quality guardrails to improve the consistency of intake records
• Create modeled and calculated metrics to enable KPI reporting on volume, cycle time, and status distributions
• Design and deliver Apptio reporting artifacts such as dashboards and reports for stakeholders
• Implement integration patterns for data exchange using the Apptio Platform API and/or Datalink connectors
• Execute controlled development practices within TBM Studio, including versioning and branching

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise platform development/configuration and/or technology process automation (e.g., TBM/Apptio, PPM, ITSM, workflow platforms)
• Demonstrated experience delivering workflow-based enterprise solutions with integrations, reporting, and controlled SDLC practices
• Working knowledge of data modeling, integrations (API/ETL), and reporting/analytics in enterprise environments
• Experience operating in an Agile delivery environment with strong documentation and testing discipline

Desired skills:

• Hands-on experience with Apptio (TBM Studio / ApptioOne / related modules) or similar platforms
• Familiarity with Demand Management, PPM, ITIL intake, and governance/tollgate models
• Experience integrating with ServiceNow, Remedy, financial systems, or data warehouses
• Understanding of FinOps, cost allocation, and unit-cost concepts
• Strong data skills including data quality checks, reconciliation, and variance analysis
• Ability to troubleshoot build/performance issues and support controlled promotion/release practices
• Exposure to TBM/FinOps concepts and standard taxonomy/mapping approaches

Pay range: $47.47 - $55.47 per hour
