The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Otolaryngology & Communication Sciences is seeking aNurse Practitioneror aPhysician Assistantto provide medical care services within an outpatient setting. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as part of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.

Position Highlights:
  • Opportunity to work alongside four physicians specializing in rhinology, anterior skull base surgery, and allergy within a highly collaborative academic practice environment.

  • The Division features three advanced Rhinology practice areas including: High-volume inflammatory sinusitis patient population, collaborative anterior skull base surgery program alongside Neurosurgery, and an expanding otolaryngic allergy practice.

  • Exposure to a diverse and complex ENT/Otolaryngology patient population across both academic and community clinical settings.

  • Preference for candidates with prior ENT/Otolaryngology experience or clinical background.

  • Collaborative and collegial department culture with a strong emphasis on mentorship, teamwork, and professional support.

  • Opportunity to work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.

  • Clinical responsibilities will support subspecialty-focused patient care within Rhinology and related ENT services.

Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday.

  • Day Shift.

  • No call, weekends, or nights.

    Qualifications:

    Preferred Experience:Previous Otolaryngology experience desired.

    Minimum Education:

    Advanced Practice Nurse:Master's Degree or higher in Nursing
    Physician Assistant:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies

    Minimum Requirements:*or eligible

    Advanced Practice Nurse & Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner:

    Wisconsin RN License

    Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License

    Adult Care and / or Acute Care Preferred

    Will consider Family Practice and/or Geriatric NP

    AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA

    Physician Assistant:

    Wisconsin Physician Assistant License

    Certification by NCCPA
