Summary

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will perform complex financial and business-related analysis, data manipulation and forecast preparation. Apply results of analysis to produce recommendations for management and department leadership. Collaborates with end users within and outside of Finance to understand their business needs as well as fully leverage the software capabilities. Analyzes and tests the software functionality and ensures the accuracy of data reporting and analysis.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain financial models and reports.

  • Approve accounts payable (AP) purchasing and reimbursements.

  • Conduct financial analysis using multiple complex financial reports to provide detailed financial interpretation, variance reporting, actionable recommendations for management and stakeholders and market-based insights.

  • Develop financial forecasts by analyzing historical and current data to estimate future revenues, expenditures and assess the impact of strategic decisions and return on investment (ROI).

  • Perform full-time equivalent (FTE) analysis and ensure accurate workforce allocation.

  • Serves as the functional expert for the budgeting and financial reporting for assigned departments and/or cost centers.

  • Identify and propose solutions to inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue optimization.

  • Participates in training and mentoring junior analyst and other staff on best financial practices

  • Calculate and process miscellaneous payments that do not follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Prepare annual budgets for assigned cost centers, including revenue and expense projections, FTE allocation and support, and clinic/physician productivity measurements.

  • Completes other projects, reports and analysis, as assigned

Qualifications

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Required Experience: 7 years

Preferred Experience: Financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.

Sensory Acuity

Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.#LI-NK1
