We are hiring a Division Transformation Manager for the Defense Division within Moog's Space and Defense Group. Within the Space and Defense Group, the Defense Division plays a vital role in delivering advanced technologies for military aircraft, missiles, munitions, ground vehicles, and space systems worldwide. In this leadership role, you are pivotal in leading and executing strategic transformation initiatives across the Division's global footprint, ensuring alignment with Moog's longterm strategy while strengthening operational excellence, scalability, and customer value.

As a Division Transformation Manager, you will:

  • Shape and drive the strategic vision for the Defense Division's 80/20 transformation, partnering with senior leadership to embed the methodology into business rhythm, culture, and longterm decisionmaking.

  • Influence major business and resourcing decisions by applying 80/20 principles to accelerate growth, improve profitability, and strengthen organizational focus on priority customers and initiatives.

  • Provide enterprisewide 80/20 leadership, delivering recommendations and solutions across all functions with emphasis on Simplification, Segmentation, Growth, and Resourcing.

  • Serve as a trusted business advisor, offering an objective perspective to challenge assumptions and guide strategic choices.

  • Act as the organization's 80/20 Subject Matter Expert, coaching teams and leaders on core principles, analytical tools, and decision frameworks.

  • Align with business teams to clarify and reinforce 80s priorities, ensuring consistent application of the methodology across the division.

  • Develop and deliver education, training, and awareness materials through established channels and targeted coaching.

  • Analyze data and performance metrics to assess the impact of transformation initiatives and provide datadriven recommendations.

  • Communicate progress, insights, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels through clear, consistent updates.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, reinforcing behaviors that sustain longterm transformation.

  • Support the Power and Data Leadership Team on broader strategic initiatives, including management system development, as needed.

To be considered for the Division Transformation Manager Role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years proven experience in strategic transformation, business program management, or a similar role.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience presenting and influencing at an executive leadership level.

  • Proven success developing strategic plans and building alignment around across departments to ensure goals are met or exceeded.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or relevant certification.

  • Experience in driving large-scale change initiatives and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.

  • Expertise in applying the 80/20 principle to prioritize tasks and maximize efficiency.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $115,000.00-$165,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
