Georgia-Pacific is seeking a proactive and analytical Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our GP Corrugated End-to-End Supply Chain Team. This role is critical in supporting and optimizing downstream supply chain operations in the rapidly growing corrugated business sector.

The role will provide support to our East Region facilities, which includes seven Corrugated plants and ten off-site warehouses (both GP and 3PL managed).

The role can be based at GP Center in downtown Atlanta, GA or remotely. Working hours are typically Eastern time.

What You Will Do

This position will support the downstream portion of the corrugated supply chain which includes, but is not limited to shipping, transportation, and warehousing.

This individual must have the ability to partner with numerous cross-functional teams simultaneously. They must be able to drive change, root cause deviations from standard processes, motivate, and hold accountable groups and individuals that do not directly report to them. They should be capable of ensuring alignment across all resources within the business to implement supply chain strategies and processes, while also developing, maintaining, and achieving KPI targets.

This role provides data analysis, uses economic thinking, and offers recommendations to optimize our warehouse networks and partners, reduce supply chain costs, and drive profitably in this emerging and rapidly expanding business. This needs to be done while simultaneously supporting internal and external customers and providing best-in-class customer service.

  • Analyze, develop, and report supply chain metrics and provide recommendations for next steps including executive summaries
  • Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of orders by partnering with customer service, production, and warehousing teams
  • Root cause KPI misses and provide input into the end-to-end supply chain for the Corrugated business by leveraging best-in-class supply chain solutions
  • Work closely with shipping managers and transportation partners to enhance cost competitiveness and delivery reliability
  • Lead warehouse start-ups, exits, and consolidations by working with shipping, customer service, inventory planning, procurement, and commercial teams
  • Act as a liaison between supply chain, finance, and the inventory COE to ensure inventory control processes are being followed
  • Provide onboarding and training for new shipping managers and warehouses; develop training programs to ensure continued alignment and understanding of standard processes

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Strong knowledge or background in Supply Chain (including but not limited to transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes and technologies)
  • Bridge analytics and operations: translate complex data into actionable decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong aptitude with Microsoft Office to include Excel (basic formulas, Pivot Tables, and analyzing data trends), Word, Teams, Outlook, and PowerBI
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain operations environment
  • Experience with Kiwi systems

For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 - $110,00 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
