A Brief Overview As a member of the Institutional and Events Fundraising team, the Coordinator of Cause Marketing & Children's Miracle Network is responsible for forming relationships with several stakeholders at local and national organizations to implement and manage fundraising campaigns for Cause Marketing and Children's Miracle Network partners. This role will also manage relationships with patient families, help plan and execute partner fundraising campaigns, give presentations about CHOP to various audiences and leverage data to inform fundraising strategy. Supports the Sr. Associate Director of Retail Cause Marketing and Children's Miracle Network. This position includes heavy regional travel and requires some night and weekend commitments during campaign seasons.
What you will do
- Build and cultivate an active portfolio of approximately 20-25 corporate retail accounts.
- Build a custom cultivation and stewardship plan for each partner including cross-functional team planning with the Corporate and Foundation Relations, Events, Marketing, Public Relations, Campaign and Child Life/Family Services and other clinical teams to strategically maximize the fundraising capacity of each partner.
- Write, edit, and review, letters, proposals, and stewardship reports as necessary.
- Create fundraising materials to align with retailers needs and brand alignment.
- Serve as a CHOP spokesperson by giving presentations to audiences ranging in size from 20 to several hundred people.
- Secure 3-5 prospecting conversations each year with partners that have capacity of $10,000 or more.
- Coordinate the Patient Family Ambassador Program.
- Manage relationships with patient families who are willing to speak at fundraising events or have their CHOP story be used on fundraising marketing materials.
- Manage constituent data in conjunction with the Gift Administration and Data Integrity teams to leverage reporting capabilities and inform fundraising strategy.
- Work closely with marketing to manage Shop 4 CHOP website updates.
- Collaborate closely with the Institutional and Events Fundraising colleagues, and the Foundation overall, in order to reach ambitious financial goals.
- Represent CHOP at CMN conferences and meetings as needed.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
Experience Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of business development, sales or fundraising related experience - Required
- At least three (3) years of business development, sales or fundraising related experience - Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft) including email & calendar, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Intermediate proficiency with customer relationship management software (Salesforce, Donorsforce, Raiser's Edge)

$56,890.00 - $71,110.00 Annually
