About the Role Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support this mission, we are seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to serve as a key leader in securing and maintaining critical government information systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the security posture of vital systems, providing both strategic leadership as a Task Lead and technical oversight as an ISSO. Your work will ensure that our federal clients can operate safely in an increasingly complex threat landscape, making a direct impact on national security and data integrity. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary Task Lead, providing oversight and direction for security-related project deliverables. Act as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for assigned systems, ensuring full compliance with federal security policies. Provide surge support by filling in as an ISSO for additional systems as mission requirements dictate. Lead the coordination of security assessments and authorization activities. Advise stakeholders on system security requirements and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure all system documentation remains accurate and compliant with government standards. Required Experience/Clearance Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance. Possess at least one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Security Professional (GISP), or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP). Candidates may also qualify with other certifications meeting DoD Instruction 8570.1 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III proficiency. At least 7+ years' experience serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) at a cleared facility. 9+ years of total work experience in a computer science or cybersecurity-related field. Desired Experience Familiarity with the use and operation of security tools including Tenable Nessus and/or Security Center. Experience using Splunk for security monitoring and log analysis. Hands-on experience with IBM Guardium, HP WebInspect, or Network Mapper (NMAP). Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or an IT-related discipline. Experience managing small teams or serving in a lead technical capacity. Redhorse Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
