What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the adoption of our premier mechanical estimating software, AutoBid, directly influencing how MEP contractors modernize their operations and bidding accuracy. You will serve as a specialized expert, shaping the digital transformation of the construction industry while enjoying the autonomy to self-author your success within a collaborative, global network.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the growth of new and existing customer accounts by uncovering critical business pain points and demonstrating high-impact software solutions.

  • Partner with Account Sales Executives to research, develop, and close high-value leads within a specialized territory.

  • Own the end-to-end buying process for prospects, acting as a visionary pragmatist to ensure our technology meets their real-world needs.

  • Collaborate with product marketing teams to stay at the cutting edge of industry updates and software enhancements.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by executing strategic territory plans and maintaining a robust opportunity pipeline.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Direct MEP specialty contractor mechanical estimating experience is required.

  • At least 2 years of proven success in sales, with a strong preference for software subscription models.

  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas.

  • Advanced negotiation and communication skills with the ability to present to all levels of an organization.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Google Suite, with a willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.

Bonus Points For:

  • Previous experience specifically utilizing or selling AutoBid software.

  • A deep network within the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contracting community.

  • Experience transitioning traditional businesses to SaaS-based digital workflows.

Logistics:

Location: US - Remote

Travel Requirement: 20-50%

Compensation: Salary + Variable, 175k +/- OTE

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
