Description Position Description: The Department of Radiology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division. This position supports the clinical, educational, and collaborative missions of the department within a highvolume academic medical center. The Cardiothoracic Imaging Division is staffed by radiologists with specialized expertise in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging. The division is responsible for interpretation of portable and conventional chest radiographs, thoracic computed tomography (CT) examinations, cardiac CT and MRI studies, and the performance of chest fluoroscopy. The service functions in close collaboration with pulmonology, oncology, internal medicine, cardiology, and cardiac and thoracic surgical services. Division faculty participate as integral members of the Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Program and contribute imaging expertise to coordinated diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning. Faculty are also involved in education and academic activities across the department. Position Responsibilities:
