As a Security Officer Experienced Driving Patrol in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic educational location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, residence-adjacent locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and assist with visitor directions, after-hours entry procedures, and/or policy compliance across the location.
• Support campus events, daily operations, and/or special activities by maintaining a visible presence, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and providing courteous assistance during routine and emergency-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
