OPERATIONS SUMMER INTERN

Orbis delivers sovereign intelligence and decision capabilities to the United States Government and its allies. We equip public institutions and critical enterprises with operator-grade technology, integration, training, and strategic expertise - enabling them to accelerate decision cycles, strengthen resilience, and maintain sovereign control in an increasingly contested world. Our team is composed of practitioners who have operated on the mission edge. We do not deliver frameworks or slide decks; we deliver running capability.

Position Overview

Orbis is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Summer Intern to support our internal operations team. This is a part-time, hybrid role - 20 to 24 hours per week - combining on-site work at Orbis headquarters with remote flexibility. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to the operational functions of a fast-paced national security technology company, contributing to real work that supports mission-critical outcomes.

  • Collaborate with team members across departments to support ongoing projects and priorities
  • Participate in team meetings, briefings, and working sessions as appropriate
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned by the supervising team

Preferred:

  • Prior internship, work, or volunteer experience in an office or operational setting
  • Familiarity with project management tools or productivity platforms
  • Interest in national security, defense technology, or government operations
  • GPA of 3.0 or above

What You Will Gain

  • Direct exposure to operations inside a mission-driven national security technology company
  • Mentorship from experienced practitioners with backgrounds in defense, intelligence, and enterprise technology
