In the role of Construction Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Assist with review and verifications of construction schedules
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly contractor cost estimates
  • Under the direction of a senior project engineer read and interpret engineering plans and specification to perform construction administration duties

  • Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of spreadsheets
  • Use engineering judgement to make decisions under the direction of senior project engineer
  • Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
  • Under the direction of project administrator or senior project engineer perform routine construction contract administration duties
  • Exercise independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution
  • Apply knowledge of contracting concepts, and follow and enforce company and client requirements
  • Coordinate closely with all parties involved
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Primavera, Scheduling Software, spreadsheets and databases
  • Interest and/or experience in the construction field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
