Position Summary Arts & Science is seeking a talented Department Manager to join Art History. The Department Manager oversees department operations and staff, managing areas of academic administration, academic support, grant administration, and faculty and student services. Ensure effective and efficient office operations and the delivery of budgetary, financial, administrative, and technical services. Manage preparation of financial reports and projects for the department; develop departmental budget; manage and control expenditures. Act as administrative liaison with other school and University offices; interpret and apply University policies to plan and manage highly complex administrative matters. Administer the Fine Arts researcher collection. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $85,000.00 to USD $95,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
