Job Description:

The Role:

Entegris is currently seeking an Engineering Technicianto join our Metal Membrane team, based in our Bedford, MA facility.

In this role, you will support operations and process engineering activities independently. This includes but is not limited to PPO2 (validation runs), working with powders to make parts and collecting data for gas filters, support Operators on day-to-day activities and some troubleshooting on complex problems. This role applies substantial technical knowledge and practical experience tooperateequipment, execute experiments, troubleshoot issues, and support membrane development and surface modification processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment in Mfg.to support membrane development and process related issues.

  • Perform membrane characterization and performance testing according to defined procedures.

  • Troubleshoot routine process and equipment issues; resolve independently. when appropriateand escalate complex issues with clear technical documentation.

  • Support engineering team to assist in the processes, validations, quality and efficiencies.

  • Assistwith new product development working with the NPI and R&D team for pilot work.

  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

  • Collect data to help determine root cause and help implement the needed changes.

  • Assistwith drafting, reviewing, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for commonly performed tasks.

  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with Entegris quality systems, safety standards, and EH&S requirements.

  • Participate in audits, safety reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives asrequired.

  • Keep fixtures and equipment up to date requiring some maintenance and repair.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and work environment; proactivelyidentifysafety or housekeeping issues.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent, Trade School/Technical education prefered. Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or R&D environment.

  • Demonstrate experience working safely with powdered metals, including proper handling, storage, and waste disposal.

  • Proven ability to execute assigned tasks independently with minimal daily supervision once trained.

  • Strong attention to detail with a systematic approach to work;demonstratedability tomaintain accurate, thorough, and well organized records.

  • Ability to generate reliable, high quality data that can be confidently used by engineers and project teams for decision making.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to proactively communicate work status, issues, and observations.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and related tools.

  • Willingness and ability tomaintaina clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience supporting projects and Operations

  • Solidworks or minimal design work.

  • Familiarity with SAP for material management and/or ETQ or similar quality documentation systems.

  • Demonstrated ability toidentifyopportunities to improve procedures, equipment reliability, safety, or operational efficiency, and to contribute practical recommendations.

  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and EH&S functions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and/or move materials up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

  • Ability to work in manufacturing support environment usingappropriate personalprotective equipment (PPE).
