| Position Summary |
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and entrepreneurial consultant to join our team. This role leads venture development focused on behavioral health. Potential areas of focus include, but are not limited to, serious mental illness medication adherence and continuity of care, adolescent and youth mental health, and rural behavioral health access in North Carolina. This position is accountable for driving business model development, customer discovery, go-to-market strategy, fundraising preparation, and day-to-day execution of the sprint. This is a structured venture development engagement, not a pre-existing company; the role operates within a cross-functional team to identify, validate, and develop a compelling digital health venture concept, grounded in domain expertise and shaped by rigorous market validation. The program follows a Stage-Gate process: Problem Validation, Positioning, Minimal Viable Product (
MVP) Development, and Pilot Traction.
This is a temporary engagement in support of a six-month sprint cycle, with a planned appointment duration of six months and no expectation of extension or conversion to a permanent role. This is a 1.0
FTE appointment at 40 hours per week. Compensation is structured as a $60,000 annualized salary, prorated to $30,000 for the six-month engagement. |
