What You'll Do:



  • Drive manufacturing improvements and support production operations through engineering expertise, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and support Manufacturing Engineering projects focused on Injection Molding and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Use a hands-on engineering approach to optimize manufacturing processes and improve production flow.
  • Support validation and transition of new products and programs into production environments.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing specifications, technical documentation, and process instructions.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Validation teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve overall performance.
  • Review manufacturing costs, analyze material usage, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Support NCR investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Lead or participate in Continuous Improvement projects focused on waste reduction and operational performance.
  • Gather and analyze information related to capital equipment needs, ROI opportunities, and production enhancements.
  • Create and present technical information, process documentation, and project updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Support customer visits and manufacturing-related initiatives as needed.
  • Assist with sales support and product-related manufacturing activities when required.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


What We're Looking For



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
  • 5-7 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in Injection Mold Processing and Lean Manufacturing environments required.
  • Experience with SolidWorks and/or Solid Edge.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
  • Experience creating technical documents and manufacturing process instructions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and production information.
  • Strong computer, mathematical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to apply modern technology and engineering concepts to manufacturing challenges.
