Position purpose

At Clearbrook, you'll lead and execute a broad range of marketing and communications programs for Argo Group and Farm Family. This includes broker engagement strategy, events, sponsorships, and brand activation initiatives.

This role is built for someone who doesn't want to be boxed in. One day you may be working on sports sponsorship activations, the next you're shaping broker strategy or analyzing performance results. As a Producer Marketing & Engagement Manager, you'll sit at the center of marketing execution and broker engagement - where strategy meets delivery.

Marketing project management

  • Partner with business unit leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies that strengthen distribution relationships and drive growth.
  • Lead campaign development and execution across educational, incentive, and engagement programs, events, and advertising initiatives.
  • Support major conference and producer strategies, including planning, communications, event execution, and follow-up.
  • Track, measure, and report marketing ROI; ensure insights are embedded into decision-making across marketing and sales.
  • Translate data and analytics into actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Strategic broker partners

  • Assist with execution of strategic marketing plans for assigned broker partners to drive growth, engagement, and profitability.
  • Assist with coordinating across internal teams supporting broker relationships, ensuring alignment and consistent execution.
  • Collaborate with product line leadership and brokers to establish goals, growth targets, and financial objectives.
  • Manage broker incentive programs, including tracking performance, reporting results, and ensuring ROI.
  • Partner with carrier management, underwriting, and product teams to identify growth opportunities, geographic priorities, and engagement strategies.
  • Monitor broker performance against KPIs including premium growth, submissions, and quote-to-bind ratios.
  • Deliver quarterly performance reporting with insights, trends, and recommendations.

Key market management

  • Plan and lead broker meetings, product presentations, and strategic market engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with broker leadership and key stakeholders in assigned markets.
  • Develop market expertise across top broker offices to support business development and growth strategy.
  • Monitor market performance, premium trends, and broker activity; provide actionable insights to leadership.

Strategic initiatives

  • Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams on special projects that improve marketing effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Support process improvement and new initiative development that enhances broker engagement and execution efficiency.

Core qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • 5+ years in marketing or communications roles
  • 5+ years insurance industry experience
  • 3+ years in project or program management
  • Highly organized with strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
  • Proven problem solver with strategic thinking and strong execution discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong editing and copywriting ability
  • Confident working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and influence across all levels
  • Willingness to travel 20-30%

The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.

  • Chicago & Houston: $91,000 - $122,000
  • New York City: $99,000 - $133,000
  • Richmond: $83,000 - $112,000
