What to Expect We are hiring a Shipping and Packaging Technician in support of our material movement, shipping, and packagingto support Cathode ManufacturinginAustin, Texas. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shipping and Packaging Technician to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and safe movement of productsto and fromthe Cathode building. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, forklift experience, and excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with operators, lab personnel, and the management team. What You'll Do Proficientlynavigate and manage information inTesla proprietary software i.e., MFS, Warp, TMS, Flux, Adhoc Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingEngineering, Maintenance and Operations,and Quality Assuranceto resolvelogisticsissues and implement action plans accordingly Complete documentation and record-keeping tasks accurately and on time to ensure compliance withTesla's Transportation of Dangerous Goods policies and guidelines Quality control, including identification, documentation, and disposition and sampling and integrity controls Ensure a high-level product quality by completing tasks such as audits, 5S activities Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality,andoutput What You'll Bring Understanding ofU.S. Department of Transportation(DOT) hazardous materials regulations, International Air Transport Association (IATA) dangerous goods rules, and International Maritime Organization (IMO) shipping requirements Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS)and properhazardous material classification and labeling Demonstratetheability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, and implement viable long-term solutions.
