Responsibilities:

• Lead Operations - Oversee daily technical operations across multiple lab sites.

• Ensure Quality - Maintain accurate, timely testing and proper specimen handling.

• Support Testing - Oversee moderate to highcomplexity testing across major disciplines.

• Manage Instruments - Oversee analyzer operation, maintenance, and evaluation.

• Maintain Compliance - Ensure CLIA, CAP, safety, and QC standards are met.

• Improve Processes - Drive workflow, service, and quality improvements.

• Lead People - Manage hiring, training, competencies, and performance.

• Develop Teams - Support staff growth and ongoing education.

• Manage Resources - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and supply management.

• Collaborate - Partner with leadership, medical directors, and external organizations.

• Uphold Standards - Ensure adherence to policies, safety, HIPAA, and organizational values.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or Administration degree required.

• Point of care, waived/nonwaived, and moderate complexity testing experience required, as well as laboratory specimen handling and testing experience.

• Two years of leadership experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Competence in phlebotomy preferred; must demonstrate effective communication skills, team-orientation, multi-tasking capability, organization, time management, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good analytical skills.

• Ability to be on call as needed or required, address needs remotely or in person on nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
