We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Human Resources Specialist to support end-to-end human resources operations within our distribution center. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient HR processes, enhancing the employee experience, and supporting workforce needs through recruitment coordination, employee support, and HR data management. This is an onsite role, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is classified as salaried non-exempt, with eligibility for overtime based on business needs.
Responsibilities of the position include:

Onboarding and Offboarding Administration:
  • Initiate background checks, drug screens, and onboarding workflows
  • Complete I-9 verification and new hire setup in HR systems
  • Coordinate orientation logistics and onboarding communication
  • Process terminations, including offboarding communication and system access removal

Recruitment Coordination:

  • Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and candidate communication
  • Assist with job postings and recruiting logistics
  • Support hiring teams and staffing agency coordination, including temp placements, movements, and terminations

HR Data & Systems Management:

  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (ADP)
  • Process employee changes, including updates and corrections
  • Support reporting, data audits, and documentation management

Employee Support & HR transactions:

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and HR processes
  • Resolve routine employee concerns, escalating more complex issues as needed
  • Support attendance tracking and routine HR administration
  • Coordinate and track compliance training
  • Support employee engagement activities and events

Process Execution & Compliance:

  • Execute HR processes in accordance with SOPs and company policies
  • Monitor process adherence and identify gaps or inefficiencies
  • Escalate issues and recommend process improvements

Requirements of the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least two years' proven experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar administrative role
  • Knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
  • Maintains current knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law
  • Familiarity with HR processes, systems, and regulations.
  • Ability to manage high-volume transactional work
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Onsite five (5) days per week; flexible to work overtime and occasional evening or special event hours as needed.
