Responsibilities


Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all incoming parts to ensure they are labeled and located within the market correctly.
  • Work to maintain the required Min and Max levels and adjust the market size as needed due to the changes in customer demand.
  • Audit 5S check lists regularly as required.
  • Work with the Leads to establish, maintain, and vary the sizes of the WIP Markets.
  • Retrieve parts from storage and deliver to assembly.
  • Ensure FIRST IN FIRST OUT flow of parts through the Market.
  • Maintain Market accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensure the Tugger operation is never delayed due to things happening in the Market.
  • Print labels needed to support production throughout the plant
  • Collect finished goods and deliver to shipping dock
  • Demonstrate one pc flow at the shipping scale to help maintain order accuracy
  • Operate reach truck and fork lift as required
  • Operate bar stock saw and chip spinner
  • Operate Overhead Crane as required
  • Active participation in High Performance Team.
  • Active participation in lean events.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand for a minimum of 8 - 10 hours a day.
  • Frequent walking, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasionally stoop, bend, lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to identify, pick up small parts for assembly/pack product.
  • Close, distance, peripheral, vision, depth perception, adjust focus.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma, or GED equivalent

  • Previous warehouse experience.

  • Experience of Lean and problem-solving events.
