Patient Scheduler Oncology Dayshift

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Description:

Responsible and accountable for daily operations of Medical Oncology Clinic office activities. Assists with the financial management of the department to include: verification and entry of patent charges, and maintains patient profiles. Work closely with medical staff, other medical personnel, intra and interdepartmental personnel to provide accurate and timely scheduling of oncology clinic patients. Responsible for scheduling all appointments. Responsible for coordinating patient flow. Maintain office
supplies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree preferred.

• Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and previous experience in scheduling or as a department secretary preferred.

• Recent experience in specialty preferred.
