T&L: In the Transportation & Logistics segment, our solutions make it safer, simpler and more efficient to move freight-bringing together a global network of shippers, carriers, brokers and 3PLs.

What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will serve as the strategic orchestrator of Trimble's cutting-edge enterprise software deployments, directly influencing operational efficiency for leading transport carriers and shippers. You will have the unique opportunity to lead diverse, cross-functional teams of subject matter experts in a high-visibility position, balancing project execution with relationship building to deliver high-yield solutions without micromanagement.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

  • Command the end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects, establishing comprehensive schedules and ensuring the timely execution of critical milestones.

  • Cultivate and maintain robust, high-trust relationships with executive-level clients to align project delivery with their long-term business goals.

  • Govern project scope, resource allocation, and budget tracking while proactively mitigating risks and handling change control processes.

  • Lead technical resources and subject matter experts to resolve complex project roadblocks and ensure high-quality root cause analysis.

  • Facilitate transparent project status communication across internal stakeholders and external customer teams through impactful presentations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience leading concurrent, high-impact commercial software deployments and technology implementations.

  • Deep understanding of project management fundamentals and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI certification.

  • Robust experience working within the trucking, logistics, or transportation industry vertical.

Bonus Points For:

  • Advanced proficiency with modern project management collaboration tools such as Smartsheet and Microsoft Project.

  • Demonstrated success navigating complex client-facing consulting environments and establishing formal Statements of Work.

Logistics:

Location: Remote - USA

Travel Requirement: 10% to 20%

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
