Job Summary

The HR Specialist supports key people processes and programs that enhance the employee experience. This role is responsible for assisting with HR reporting and analytics, developing presentations and materials, reviewing and following up on exit survey feedback, supporting onboarding activities, auditing HR data for accuracy, coordinating recognition programs, and helping manage priorities across multiple HR initiatives.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Assist with preparing, compiling, and maintaining HR reports, dashboards, and metrics
  • Coordinate and develop quarterly reports, decks, and presentations that articulate people metrics and HR's impact on business outcomes
  • Analyze and summarize HR data to support decision-making and identify trends.
  • Conduct regular audits of employee data to maintain data integrity within Workday
  • Create and format PowerPoint presentations for HR initiatives and leadership meetings
  • Review exit survey results and other employee feedback data for insights and follow-up opportunities
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for onboarding activities to help create a positive new hire experience
  • Assist in administering employee rewards and recognition programs
  • Utilize tools such as Workday Report Writer, Excel, and other technologies to produce and maintain reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR analytics or data reporting; Workday experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with statistical packages is a plus.
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (Workday).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain strong organization of files, reports, presentations, and tracking tools.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Team player with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Environmental Job Requirements

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
  • Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about.
  • Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
