In this dynamic role, you will join the EBR DC application development team in supporting custom off the shelf (COTS) and in-house application needs for the Pennsylvania Insurance Department (PID). As a Senior Applications Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing, planning, designing, programming, administering, enhancing, and troubleshooting mission critical applications. Your work will ensure PID has the advanced IT support it needs to protect Pennsylvania's insurance customers through fair and effective service, programming, and regulatory operations. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Schedule is flexible, includes infrequent irregular hours as part of testing.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. This position currently reports to the office on Tuesday and Wednesday each week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4 (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or
• Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
• One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
