Job Description




As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communication, document incidents, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor communications systems, receive and document calls, alarms, and/or service requests, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate routine and urgent responses by relaying accurate information to on-site staff, property contacts, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, activity records, and other dispatch documentation to support site operations and security-related response efforts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism while helping to deter issues through timely communication, observation, and adherence to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
