Job Description




As a Security Officer Access Control in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor access points, verify badges and credentials, and support security-related operations through strong communication and professionalism. In this access control role, you will remain visible to help to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and communicating entry requirements for the location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, badge activity, and/or visitor logs to help support authorized access and report unusual or unauthorized activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and relaying information according to post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Assist with visitor management, contractor check-in, key or badge control, and other security-related administrative tasks that help support daily operations at an industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
