Job Title: Key Account Manager - HVAC/R OEM Electronics
Location: Naperville, IL
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $110K-$130K/Year (20% bonus quarterly)
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week

Summary of profile of what we are looking for:

Seeking a Key Account Manager with proven experience selling PCBAs, electronic assemblies, controls, or EMS solutions into HVAC OEMs. Candidate should have established relationships within Carrier, Trane, Daikin, Johnson Controls, Lennox, Rheem, Mitsubishi Electric, LG, or similar manufacturers. Experience managing long OEM design-win sales cycles, working with engineering and procurement teams, and generating $5M+ annual business preferred. Knowledge of HVAC control boards, inverter technology, motor drives, thermostats, building automation, and connected HVAC systems is highly desirable.

Job Requirements

Must Have

  • 5+ years selling electronic components, EMS, PCBAs, controls, electromechanical assemblies or mechanical parts
  • Existing relationships with HVAC OEMs particulary with the following roles:
    • Engineering leaders
    • Commodity managers
    • Supply chain contacts
    • Business unit managers
  • Experience managing large OEM accounts rather than distribution sales
  • Experience with design-in sales cycles
  • Understanding of HVAC control architectures
  • Comfortable working with engineering, sourcing, quality, and operations teams
