Quadel is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with 1-3 years of experience to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner Process HAP payments via check, ACH, or wire transfers Reconcile accounts payable ledger and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and journal entries Support audits by providing required documentation and information QUALIFICATIONS 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, reconciliation) Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience in affordable housing or property management accounting is a plus EDUCATION Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred PHYSCIAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Occasionally required to stand. Occasionally required to walk. Frequently required to sit. Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity. Continually required to talk or hear. Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard. Occasionally/required to lift/push/carry items up to 25lbs.
