Another Source's client, Stanford University, is recruiting a Operations Analyst to join their team in Redwood City, California. This is an onsite opportunity.

Through innovative transportation, parking, and mobility programs, the team helps ensure that students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners can safely and efficiently navigate the Stanford community. As part of Stanford's Land, Buildings & Real Estate organization, Transportation plays a critical role in supporting campus operations through data-driven planning, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About this role:

The Parking Operations Analyst provides operational and administrative support to Parking Operations with limited supervision. This position is responsible for field-based program execution, data collection and tracking, stakeholder coordination, and logistical support across Stanford Transportation initiatives. The role may also coordinate the work of support staff or student workers in connection with specific programs.

Your Contribution Will Likely Include

    Conduct field surveys and zone-based parking utilization scans while maintaining structured data logs.
  • Analyze parking usage to identify trends, occupancy, and turnover patterns.
  • Support capacity planning by forecasting demand and developing data-driven recommendations on supply, allocation, and utilization.
  • Communicate findings through reports and presentations to management.
  • Maintain and manage contractor and authorized vehicle license plate identifier records, ensuring accuracy through coordination with enforcement and customer service teams.
  • Prepare and issue construction-related parking identifiers in alignment with program requirements.
  • Oversee construction parking operations, including stakeholder coordination, location planning, and signage management.
  • Coordinate the setup and ongoing administration of the residential vehicle storage program, including participant recordkeeping, space preparation, and program documentation.
  • Participate in bi-weekly facility inspections to identify safety issues, signage deficiencies, and maintenance needs; document findings and track resolution.
  • Deploy and remove event and enforcement signage and maintain a sign log to ensure accurate coordination across departments.
  • Respond to residential parking suspension inquiries within the same business day, maintain request logs, and coordinate implementation with enforcement personnel.
  • Coordinate and support biannual cordon counts, utilization studies, and space reallocation initiatives through field data collection and logistical execution.
  • Coordinate construction project parking, including negotiating locations with project managers, preparing identifiers, and managing signage.
  • Manage campus Zipcar spaces, Bus and DisGo designated parking, and departmental storage areas in collaboration with internal partners.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries via phone and email, routing to appropriate teams and maintaining collaborative relationships with campus stakeholders.
  • Document procedures, field outcomes, and program notes in shared platforms to support cross-team alignment.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in team meetings and one-on-one sessions; complete annual goals, mid-year check-ins, and self-evaluations in accordance with university guidelines.

Experience You Will Bring

  • High school diploma and four years of relevant experience in parking operations, transportation, facilities, or a related administrative field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with office software, email applications, and data tracking tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow through and complete projects with limited supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and adapt to shifting operational needs.
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise sound independent judgment in day-to-day decisions.
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience using data analysis or statistical tools, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Prior experience in parking operations or facilities management is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $39.20 - $43.69 per hour.
