Instruction may occur during daytime, evening, and weekend hours depending on program needs. This position is not eligible for benefits. Duties and Responsibilities: Candidates may teach across a variety of undergraduate nursing specialty areas, including but not limited to medical-surgical nursing, older adult health, women's health, child health, psychiatric-mental health nursing, and community/public health nursing. Responsibilities include supervising and evaluating students in clinical and laboratory settings and collaborating with course faculty to support student learning and course outcomes. Qualifications: Active RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required. Candidates must hold either a bachelor's degree in nursing with specialty certification or a master's degree in nursing. A doctoral degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
