The person in this role will make numerous individual data changes within our corporate systems for customers and internal teams. Requests include updates to company, compliance, and finance records. Work is performed independently within a small, tight-knit team that handles a high request volume (expect 30+ requests per day). Candidates should be able to input each request accurately while navigating several communication methods, systems and screens. They should be able to follow complex processes and should have a customer service orientation.

The ideal candidate will have an exacting eye for detail. In the past they may have been an analyst, an assistant, or performed support or data entry in Accounting, Finance or Sales. They will be content completing routine, sometimes tedious, tasks and should like learning systems.

This is a work-from-home, remote position with very occasional travel to corporate office locations in Monett and Springfield, Missouri, and Allen, Texas. We are looking for applicants located in Allen, TX, Missouri and the surrounding areas (within a 3 hours' drive).

The work hours for this position are 8am - 5pm CT or 7am - 4pm CT, inclusive of lunch and breaks. This position has recurring check-ins and team meetings.

The salary range for this position is $53,650- $72,000 and will be determined based on location and experience level.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Making critical, high-volume individual data changes for groups throughout the organization.
  • Keeping customer and internal data up to date in our systems.
  • Completing data cleansing, data reconciliation and other special projects as assigned.
  • Resolving issues with data and answering data questions.
  • Acting as a data subject matter expert for our systems and related processes, including data input, data flows.
  • Keeping customer data up to date.
  • Creating and maintaining process documentation for data entry processes.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • A minimum of 18 months experience inputting data into systems.
  • Some experience in an internal or external-facing customer service role.
  • Ease and resilience performing similar tasks over the long term. A good working memory and a 'get it done' mentality.
  • A team player attitude: Able to perform a fair share of work and contribute to team success.
  • A detailed, exacting eye for data accuracy. An ability to work with sensitive and confidential materials and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Able to exercise judgment and be decisive within defined procedures and practices.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • A basic understanding of various records like invoices, contacts and other company information.
  • Experience navigating a CRM system, ERP system or database as a user.
  • Organizational skills, including an ability to multitask and communicate with multiple business teams during the workday. Able to reprioritize and respond to urgent situations as business demands require.
  • Familiarity and comfort with Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft productivity tools.
  • Experience with non-complex to moderately complex data projects utilizing Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience documenting work instructions or processes.
  • An interest in learning new systems and concepts. An ability to 'figure things out,' break processes into steps.
  • General knowledge of the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong listening and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
