Our Values Respect | Belonging | Accountability | Transparency Department School Based Medical ServicesJob Summary The Pediatrics General APP, under general supervision, works collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to pediatric and adolescent patients. This position is based at the Florence Crittenton School-Based Health Center, a unique practice setting serving children, adolescents, pregnant teens, and their infants. The APP will provide care for pediatric patients ranging from 2 months through young adulthood (up to age 21) and must be comfortable providing prenatal, postpartum, and reproductive healthcare services for adolescent patients. Responsibilities include examining and diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, providing preventive and acute care, performing screenings and diagnostic testing, prescribing medications, making referrals, and performing procedures within the scope of practice. This position practices with a high level of autonomy as the primary onsite provider and requires previous clinical experience managing patients independently. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for pediatric and adolescent populations and be comfortable working independently while collaborating with the broader School-Based Health Center team.
