What to Expect
Battery Cells are the common denominator for every Tesla product. Our product requirements demand ground-up cell architectures withstate-of-the-artperformance, manufactured at volumes that are orders of magnitude higher than the products they power. Our team works with engineering groups across various disciplines, requiringstrong communicationskills and a team-first mentality. We look for anyone with an exceptional ability to solve problems in both individual and team settings.
This cell engineer willwork with a cross-functional team todevelop cell qualification plans to characterize initial cell performance,lifetime behavior,and cell reliabilitytoidentifycritical failures and degradation modes.This person willoversee test progress at internal/external labs and coordinate test priorities. In addition, this person will conduct analysis toidentifyrisks fortimelyprogram decisions. What You'll Do
