Overview Ready to shape the future of science and global health? A leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, ATCC is seeking an Industrial Safety Specialist to support our Environmental Health and Safety Team. This EHS Industrial Safety Specialist will work onsite in Frederick, Maryland from 8 - 5 Monday - Friday. This role requires industrial safety and OSHA compliance experience, ideally in laboratory general industry setting. This Industrial Safety Specialist will collaborate closely with our facilities team on major facility-related projects. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of Industrial Safety Programs and OSHA compliance programs, general EHS duties, incident response, and emergency management. Industrial Safety Training and Compliance: Develop and support Industrial Safety programs with improvements for organizational safety training, while ensuring compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and standards. Conduct new employee safety orientation and contractor safety training.
Qualifications
Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program. We Invest in You
