Overview: The role of the Server is to wait on tables promptly, courteously and to serve the guest in any way possible. Responsibilities: Knowledge of fine dining service. * Must have full familiarity with menus. * Must have full knowledge of beverage offerings. * Station set-up and breakdown/side-work. * To polish and clean glass and silver wares. * Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager. * To have dollies' underliners ready. * To fold various napkins for service * Service to guests. * Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained. * Clean and maintain restaurant. * Knowledge of Micros Computer System * Help other associates whenever possible and maintain a dedication towards teamwork. Qualifications: * Must be able to lift 50 lbs. * Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone. * Must have strong communications skills * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. * Must be able to multitask. * Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift. * Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance. * Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Must have Food Handlers and ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
