Role Summary

The Senior Event Producer, Marketing Events is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of high-impact marketing events, drive experiences , and corporate events. Reporting to the Lead Producer, Marketing Events, this role plays a critical hands-on role in delivering best-in-class live experiences that reflect Rivian's brand values and drive audience engagement.

The Senior Event Producer is responsible for managing event workstreams from planning through execution, partnering closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery, operational excellence, and budget discipline. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for experiential marketing, a deep understanding of automotive or related industries, and exceptional project management skills. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless event delivery, exceeding customer expectations, and driving brand engagement through innovative and memorable experiential programs. You will also support the Drive Events and Corporate and Engagement division through:

  • Producing drive experiences end-to-end-from concept development and operational planning through on-site execution and post-event analysis-ensuring every interaction delivers a safe, engaging, and on-brand customer experience.
  • Executing employee engagement programming, onsite events at our various workplaces, executive and Board of Director meetings, Rivian flagship moments, and key stakeholder initiatives such as Investor Relations, Product Communications & Media, Suppliers, and Policy.

Working cross-functionally with marketing, brand, retail, communications, partnership teams, investor relations, and other corporate entities, the Senior Event Producer helps translate strategic direction into high-quality, on-brand event experiences across flagship locations, cultural moments, national tentpoles, and key partner platforms.


Responsibilities

Event Planning

  • Collaboratively develop detailed event briefs that align with program objectives and overall marketing strategy.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with venues, suppliers, and external partners connected to assigned events.
  • Oversee all tools, systems, backend integrations, and training required for successful lead capture at events.
  • Set up budget codes and complete vendor onboarding documentation as needed.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and resource allocations to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive event documentation, including run of show (ROS), SRM creation, Splash builds, tracking requirements, staffing plans, and contact sheets.
  • Coordinate closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders to align on deliverables and customer journey workflows for leads captured at events.
  • Proactively identify risks, challenges, and dependencies, and implement mitigation plans to ensure smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Internal Communications, People & Culture, Facilities, IT, Legal, Finance, IR, Policy, and Brand

Event Execution

  • Manage all aspects of onsite event logistics, including lead capture systems and tools, event staffing, internal and external communications, and on-site training.
  • Oversee setup and breakdown of event infrastructure, including lead capture tools, display areas, and hospitality zones.
  • Act as a problem-solver on the ground, addressing issues with creativity, agility, and sound judgment.
  • Ensure a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience for all participants, staff, and partners.
  • Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including vehicle and demo drive routing, staffing, event communications (internal and external), and on-site event management.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of event infrastructure, including driving courses, display areas, and hospitality zone

Post-Event Analysis

  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize participant feedback and event performance data.
  • Prepare timely and comprehensive post-event reports, including ROI analysis, insights, and recommendations for future programs.
  • Present findings and learnings to internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual business reviews and event planning sessions to optimize feedback loops and continuously improve event strategy and execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in event production, with a focus on ride & drives, tours or automotive events.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong understanding of automotive or related industries.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer experience skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. You are a natural connector.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and take a resourceful approach to projects
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and passion for frequent travel up to 70% of the time

Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $87,300 to $109,100 for California based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
